I hope I didn’t just give away the ending

Today wasn’t very eventful. I went to Spanish class this morning and visited the library with my classmates during the break. I wish I knew enough Spanish because I saw this old book of popular Russian stories (in Spanish) and it kind of reminded me of my grade school library days. As a kid I would spend my lunch period reading and borrowing books and I would read everything in the children’s section. Then when I got bored with that I moved on to the books for the sixth and seventh graders (I was around grade four then). I am such a bookworm and I’m not ashamed to admit it either. I haven’t borrowed books since because my school library doesn’t have the books I like. Anyway, when I saw that book in the Instituto’s library, I was tempted to borrow it but then I know I’d be looking up words in the dictionary more than I’d actually be reading so I decided to forget it. It’s gonna take me ages before I get to be that good…I’m not a very good linguist but I could always try.

I was supposed to have guitar lessons today but my teacher couldn’t make it which sucks. Annie’s friends were inviting me to go to Glaiza’s this afternoon for a food-, movie-, and Playstation-fest but I declined because today was supposed to be my last session. I’m not doing so bad with the guitar except that my short fingers are giving me great difficulty when it comes to the complicated chords. Maybe if I get to save enough money someday, I’ll buy myself an electric guitar, learn how to play it and join a band when I’m in college. We’d play in all the popular pubs and clubs and I’d be some sort of mini-celebrity, the talk of the newspapers’ Society pages and Pulp magazine. I’ll have no end of cute guys and admirers and I’ll live the life of a party. In my dreams…..

Damn Audiogalaxy! I was gonna burn a CD for myself tonight but my satellite absolutely refuses to connect so it looks like I’ll have to wait till later tonight or tomorrow to burn. *sigh* I really should get an alternative to Audiogalaxy but I’m not sure which one to use…recommendations, anyone?
