Why are you any better than anyone else?

Blah. I’m like, totally obssessed with guitars now. I tinkered with my guitar a bit but I still sounded lousy so I stopped after awhile and watched my Silverchair VCD again. Maybe it was Daniel’s voice, or the way he looked while he was singing, but after watching the video I felt so inspired to start playing my guitar again. I swear, I’m really gonna practice and in a year or two I’m going to join or form my own band. I’ve been looking online for electric guitars just to get a general idea of how much they cost so I can bribe my parents to get me one. I really want a black and red one but purple and blue would be okay too. They cost a couple thousand pesos…ahh! But I’m not complaining though cos I’ve got a really cool top-of-the-line Yamaha guitar. It used to belong to my uncle but he’s a doctor now and I don’t think he had the time to play his guitar so he gave it to my mom who gave it to me since she doesn’t use it anyway. Although it’s really old, it’s very beautiful and is worth a lot. What I like about it is that it’s phased out already; my guitar is really unique! Casey once told me that there’s something sexy about guitars, and now I’m starting to see why.

My sister called from Dallas today. She still sounds like her old, semi-grouchy self. I really regret not going to the States this year because they have a ten-day break and my sister might be spending those days at San Francisco! During the times I joined the Choir tour, we only had 4 day breaks. Lucky brat! I really, really love San Francisco. I miss eating in the restaurants at Fisherman’s Wharf and walking along the bay with the wind whipping my hair around (I miss the cold weather, period). I also miss my cousins and relatives; they might be coming for Christmas but I’d still like to go to San Francisco anyway. I really hope I can go next year!

Guess I’ll go play my guitar now…..
