Need a pathway need a guide
One thing about the summer is that sometimes you lose track of the time. A few minutes seem to feel like hours. And then before you know it, the week is almost over. Not once have I ever felt this impatient for summer to end and for school to begin. I guess I just want to get my high school life over with. Everybody keeps telling me that I should treasure my youth, that I should take my time growing up, blah blah blah. But why should I? I really don’t see what the fun is in being bossed around by teachers and nuns who think they know everything. Or having to listen to my friends’ “problems” and “worries”, which is basically a lot of shallow stuff. One more “Am I gaining weight?” and I will punch their teeth in.
Right now, I hate being a teenager. I wish that I would mature overnight and leave the crazy, adolescent world! Even if it means more responsibility and all that shit…
Chris came over early this afternoon so we could burn the CD he asked me to make for him yesterday. He only stayed a few minutes cos he wanted to hurry home and catch the Survivor 2 finale (he missed the first ten minutes). I honestly don’t know what’s up with that show! Everyone except me is watching it! Although I watched Survivor 1 religiously, I wasn’t able to watch the first episode of Survivor 2. The problem with me is that if I miss the first episode of a series, I don’t feel like following the story anymore because I had missed an important part: the beginning. Missing the first episode is like beginning a book in chapter two instead of chapter one. I get totally lost and I don’t know which character is which. And even if I asked someone else what happened, it wouldn’t work cos I would want to see it for myself. I’ll make sure to watch the first episode of Survivor 3. I hate it when I’m the only one who has no clue to what everybody else is talking about.
I start my guitar lessons tomorrow. Once I get good at it I’m gonna convince my parents to buy me an electric guitar; black like Daniel Johns’.
