Guys

Guys. You can’t live with them, and you can’t live without them.

I’m torn between the desire to hate guys and the desire to like guys. Well, first of all, at break at choir, the guys (including Raymond) sat in one corner, laughing and talking so loud that my friends and I couldn’t hear eachother anymore. My friend, EJ decided to play a game and so we girls played, with two boys joining us. While we were playing, I had this feeling that the boys were laughing at us. Anyway, it was really hot and the electric fan was facing the boys. So my other guy friend, Rainier, who was playing with the girls faced it to us. The boys were laughing loudly at Rainier (Rainier is sorta gay, I think and everyone bugs him about it. I just shut up.) and Lester faced the fan to themselves. We were so mad! Fortunately, the staff scolded the boys for being so noisy. Serves them right.

Then my so-called friend, Ian was teasing me to Cyril. Or teasing Cyril to me. Whatever. It was so embarassing. Then worse of all, Christian said, “Hey Lauren, Cyril’s got a crush on you!” When he wasn’t looking, I gave him this nasty look I only have when I am mad.

After choir, I lounged in the office. My friend Christopher dared me to open an electric typewriter. I opened it and it lit up and everything. Cyril was laughing at me and he said, “Oh no, you are in big tru-bull. What did you do?” Real cute. I gave him that same nasty look. Fortunately, I didn’t get into trouble. Uncle Fred, one of the guys that work in the choir just told me to turn it off. When Cyril wasn’t looking, I stuck out my tongue at him.

I can’t believe I’m spending two whole months with those….boys. I’m even beginning to hate Raymond.
